Terms summary

• Clippsly provides creator, music-distribution, listening, and private-library features. Which features you can use depends on your account type, eligibility, membership, and standing.
• You must be at least 13 to use Clippsly. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission.
• Clippsly will never require KYC or government-ID checks to create or use a Clippsly account or feature. Age verification may still apply to age-restricted features, and third-party providers may set their own checks.
• You keep ownership of content you create. You give Clippsly only the permissions needed to host, process, display, and deliver it through features you choose.
• Listener-library uploads are private to the account owner, are not publicly distributed or sent to Roblox, and are excluded from Clippsly and ACRCloud audio-content verification checks.
• Artist audio may be reviewed using Clippsly’s in-house audio-verification models and ACRCloud PTE. LTD. Files submitted to Roblox through DDEX are processed by Roblox Corporation.
• Clippsly uses human and automated safety systems. Security checks may use IP-derived fingerprints to detect abuse and ban evasion; these fingerprints are pseudonymous, not anonymous.
• We do not use listening history to build personal recommendation profiles or target advertising. Last.fm scrobbling is optional and starts only after you connect Last.fm.
• Membership, storage, and digital-service purchases are subject to the price and terms shown at checkout. Clippsly's policy is no refunds, as described below and in the No Refund Policy.

These Terms should be read with the Clippsly Privacy Policy and any more-specific purchase or refund terms shown to you.

1. About these Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of Clippsly websites, applications, APIs, creator tools, music services, and related features (“Clippsly” or the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Clippsly. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Some features may have additional age or eligibility requirements.

KYC and identity documents

Clippsly will never require KYC from users as a condition of creating or using a Clippsly account or feature. We do not ask users to provide government-issued identification or proof of address for Clippsly KYC. Age verification for age-restricted features is separate from KYC and may still be required using the method shown in that feature's flow. Payment processors and other third-party services may independently request identity or KYC checks under their own terms; Clippsly does not control or waive those checks.

Registration and connected services

Clippsly accounts may be created or accessed using Clippsly credentials or supported third-party sign-in methods. Depending on the feature, you may also connect services such as Roblox, Discord, YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud, X, or Last.fm. Available providers and permissions may change.

When you connect a service, you authorize Clippsly to receive and use the information and permissions needed for that integration. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share credentials or attempt to access another person’s account.

Account region

Clippsly may determine or review an account’s country or region using network, payment, or other operational signals. Region may affect pricing, eligibility, available features, or legal requirements. You must not manipulate regional information to evade restrictions or obtain pricing or benefits improperly.

3. Account types and feature eligibility

Clippsly offers creator and listener functionality. Creator features may include public releases, uploads, distribution, and related services. Listener features may include private-library storage and playback.

Creator uploads, Roblox distribution, paid services, storage, and other features may depend on account eligibility, membership, region, moderation standing, technical requirements, or third-party approval. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will be available to every account.

Repeated copyright violations, fraud, ban evasion, abuse of uploads or distribution, or other serious violations may result in loss of creator or distribution access, upload restrictions, listener-only conversion, content removal, suspension, or account termination. Losing creator eligibility does not always mean the entire account will be terminated. Listener features may remain available unless restricted for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

4. Private listener library

Where available, the private library lets a Listener account upload audio for personal use within that account. Private-library uploads:

• are not publicly searchable or publicly released by Clippsly;
• are not submitted to Roblox through Clippsly’s DDEX distribution flow; and
• are accessible to the account owner through the Service, subject to account and safety restrictions.

Private-library audio is not submitted to Clippsly’s or ACRCloud PTE. LTD.’s audio-content verification checks. It may still be processed as needed to store, encode, secure, and play the file. Authorized personnel may access information where necessary to provide support, address a security or legal issue, or enforce these Terms.

You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and store a file, even when it is private. Clippsly may restrict or remove private content when required by law or reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, rights-holder claims, or platform integrity.

5. Creator uploads and distribution

You must own or have permission to use every recording, composition, sample, image, name, performance, and other element in content you upload or distribute. You are responsible for obtaining required licenses, permissions, and consents, including from co-creators and rights holders.

If you choose to submit a release to Roblox through Clippsly’s DDEX delivery flow, you authorize Clippsly to transmit the release files and required metadata to Roblox Corporation for that distribution. Roblox Corporation processes the submitted files and may apply its own review, availability, and enforcement rules. Clippsly cannot control Roblox’s decisions or guarantee publication, continued availability, or removal timing on Roblox.

Artist audio may be processed by Clippsly Ltd’s in-house audio-verification models and ACRCloud PTE. LTD. for verification, rights, or safety purposes. This does not apply to private-library audio submitted by Listener accounts, as described in Section 4. Other moderation or copyright checks may process relevant content or metadata as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Ownership and licence to Clippsly

You retain ownership of content you create, subject to third-party rights and licenses. You grant Clippsly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, encode, transcode, display, and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate the features you use, provide private-library access, review content, and maintain the Service.

If you publish content or request distribution, this license also allows Clippsly to make the content available to the audience or destination you selected, including transmitting it to Roblox or another distribution partner. The license does not transfer ownership to Clippsly. It continues only as needed to complete distribution, maintain backups, comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce these Terms. A receiving platform may retain content under its own rules.

For a distribution or publishing feature you request, you authorize Clippsly to grant the selected recipient a limited sublicense to host, reproduce, transmit, and make the content available as needed to provide that feature under the recipient’s terms.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that Clippsly’s permitted use will not violate another person’s rights or the law.

7. Rules for using Clippsly

You must not use Clippsly to:

• upload, distribute, or promote content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or target another person or group;
• publish hateful content targeting protected characteristics, sexually explicit material, graphic or illegal content, personal information, scams, or malicious software;
• impersonate a person, deceive users about authorship or rights, or use AI-generated content to mislead or impersonate someone;
• evade moderation, bans, upload limits, regional restrictions, or payment controls;
• manipulate, disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse Clippsly systems or integrations; or
• use another person’s account, credentials, or content without permission.

You must accurately label explicit content and disclose AI-generated or AI-assisted content when Clippsly’s tools or rules require it. We may update content rules to address safety, rights, or legal requirements.

8. Moderation and safety

Clippsly uses human moderation, automated systems, AI-assisted tools, copyright checks, account-safety services, and fraud-prevention measures to protect users, creators, rights holders, and the Service. These systems may review content, metadata, reports, account activity, moderation history, and security signals.

Network fingerprints may be used to investigate suspected ban evasion or other abuse. A shared IP address can belong to unrelated people—for example, people in one household, school, workplace, mobile network, or VPN—and a match can be mistaken. A match may nevertheless result in review or restrictions. Contact support if you believe an action affecting your account was made in error.

Depending on the circumstances, we may issue warnings, restrict features, remove content, restrict distribution or payments, convert an account to listener-only functionality, suspend an account, or terminate it. We may act without advance notice where necessary to protect users, comply with law, preserve evidence, or prevent ongoing harm.

You may appeal through any appeal process offered for the action or contact support to request a review. Some actions—such as those required by law, urgent safety measures, or certain rights-holder requests—may have limited or no appeal options through Clippsly. Automated systems can make mistakes; where appropriate, we may review or correct their results.

9. Third-party services and communications

Clippsly relies on third parties for parts of the Service. Examples include:

• BunnyWay d.o.o. for file storage or delivery, with user files stored in Germany;
• Amazon Web Services, Inc. (including Amazon SES) to send Clippsly service and support emails;
• ACRCloud PTE. LTD. for applicable artist-audio verification;
• Roblox Corporation to process files submitted through the DDEX distribution flow;
• Stripe and NOWPayments where used for payments;
• Rayward (formerly Rotector) for configured Roblox or Discord account-safety checks; and
• Last.fm Limited for scrobbling, but only after you connect Last.fm.

This list may change; the Privacy Policy describes our data handling in more detail. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, content rules, and availability. Clippsly is not responsible for a third party’s independent decisions, outages, or changes, except where applicable law says otherwise.

Automated account, security, legal, and purchase-related messages are service communications. If Clippsly staff want to contact you directly, they will use Clippsly Messages or email only after you have previously agreed to direct email contact. Necessary automated service notices may still be sent by email.

10. Memberships, storage, payments, and refunds

Prices, billing periods, included features, storage allowances, and payment methods are shown at purchase or in the relevant service description. Regional pricing may apply. You authorize the selected payment provider to process the transaction.

Payments may be handled by Stripe or NOWPayments, depending on the payment method and feature. Crypto payments may involve public blockchain records and may not be reversible by Clippsly once sent. The payment provider’s terms also apply.

Memberships and paid digital features may be activated or delivered immediately. Clippsly's policy is no refunds: we do not provide refunds, credits, or reversals for purchases, whether used or unused. The only exception is a specific refund or other remedy that applicable law requires.

Storage allowances and upload quotas may depend on membership tier, account type, account standing, and operational limits. If you reach your allowance, we may block additional uploads until you delete content or obtain more storage. Existing content may remain accessible while new uploads are restricted.

Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in feature restrictions or account action. We may retain transaction records and respond to payment disputes as permitted by law.

11. Privacy and data handling

The Clippsly Privacy Policy explains the information we process, why we process it, who receives it, how long we retain it, and how to exercise your privacy rights. It forms part of these Terms.

In summary, Clippsly’s core service and user data, including files stored by BunnyWay d.o.o., are stored in Germany. Specific providers may process information elsewhere to deliver features. We do not sell personal data or use listening history for advertising profiles or personalized music recommendations.

For security, Clippsly may process IP addresses and store one-way SHA-256 or keyed-HMAC fingerprints. These are pseudonymous identifiers, not encrypted or anonymous data. We use them for security and abuse prevention, not advertising. More detail, including Last.fm scrobbling and audio-verification processing, is in the Privacy Policy.

12. Availability and changes to the Service

Clippsly is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that a feature, integration, price, membership, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, moderation, fraud prevention, operational needs, technical limitations, or a third-party provider’s requirements. Where practical, we will provide notice of material changes. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be limited by law.

13. Copyright notices and legal requests

We respond to valid copyright notices and other lawful requests. Do not submit a notice or counter-notice unless you are authorized to do so and the information is accurate. Repeated or bad-faith infringement may result in content removal, loss of creator or distribution privileges, listener-only conversion, or account termination.

Rights-holder and legal requests may be sent to legal@clippsly.app. Include enough information for us to understand and assess the request. We may share relevant information with affected users or rights holders where legally appropriate.

14. Disclaimers and liability

Clippsly is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that user content, automated checks, recommendations, or third-party services will be error-free or continuously available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clippsly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss arising from third-party services or interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for claims arising from content you upload or distribute, including whether you had the necessary rights. Nothing in this section removes any rights or remedies you have under mandatory consumer law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Clippsly and request account closure through available account controls or by contacting support. Account closure may not remove information that we need to retain for legal, payment, safety, rights-holder, or abuse-prevention reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend, restrict, convert, or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, payment abuse, security concerns, or conduct that threatens users, creators, rights holders, or the Service. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and available review process.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, our legal obligations, or our safety requirements change. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes by email or through Clippsly where appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

17. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
